Local Leaders tips:
  • Spell out the terms such as listing fee, pick up, drop off or any other important aspects. Flat fees work best. Some industries require a broker's or other professional license to sell goods, please check all laws
  • Use a unique client code for each item listed and put it at the bottom of each listing for that client. In the item description, for example, insert the seller's initials such as TS3. In this case the client would be Tony Seller's 3rd item for sale.
  • Email clients with a link to their listings on LiveDeal.

  1. Local Leaders are not representatives, employees, independent contractors or agents of LiveDeal. Local Leaders are simply facilitating the listing of items for sale in an advertising relationship with the seller, just like a newspaper advertising representative selling listings.
  2. LiveDeal does not formally screen Local Leaders to confirm a set of professional credentials.
  3. LiveDeal is not responsible for the acts or omissions of Local Leaders, and LiveDeal has no control over the quality, safety or legality of the items advertised, the truth or accuracy of the listings or the ability of sellers to sell items.
  4. All transactions and disputes between Local Leaders and their clients are governed by the terms of the agreement between the Local Leader and the third party and not the LiveDeal user agreement.
  5. LiveDeal encourages Local Leaders to enter into written contracts with clients that address all issues relevant to the relationship.
  6. All items listed by Local Leaders must comply with the LiveDeal User Agreement. No illegal items may be listed.
  7. Local Leaders are responsible for the content and fees related to all listings that they facilitate, whether listed under their own User ID or in the name of a client.
  8. Local Leaders are independently responsible for complying with all applicable domestic and international laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations regarding use of LiveDeal and any listing, purchase, solicitation of offers to purchase, and sale of items.
  9. Local Leaders are responsible for evaluating and complying with all local laws relating to proxy selling on LiveDeal for others and all laws applicable to the sale of real estate, automobiles, or other regulated items. Whenever required by law, Local Leaders will first become licensed as a broker or dealer, assume obligations to inspect or make disclosures about the condition of the items, and comply with other legal requirements when selling these types of items for clients.
